Outdoor Area Upgrade
New Fencing and Deck Extension
Initial client consultation to go over project scope followed by a site visit to see what was feasible and a measure up.
Discussed with client what options were available in order to keep within their budget.
Project confirmed and time booked to begin renovation. The team started with some last minute demo work which the customer wasn’t able to complete, so the project could keep moving forward.
Once the demo work was complete we installed posts for the fence, followed by rails and palings. Next on the task list was the deck extension.
Working around the pool company, who needed to install the frame for the pool required daily communication, and schedule adjusting, but worked out great. Once their framework was up we carried on with the deck work, adding additional support for the spa pool's final sitting place. Extra support was also required beneath the deck area for the glass balustrade posts to be installed. The pool team worked with MMA to ensure adequate support and placement were correct.
During the project, the client had time to decide on all the last-minute details and discussed options with MMA. Pool fencing style, deck paint colour, access to the existing deck, and other minor details.
Being on-site while the client was at home made the project easier to manage as we knew exactly what they wanted. If we didn’t think it was going to work with what they had planned for, we worked on a solution together or an alternative option, ie- instead of the glass balustrade going by the spa we decided on black pool fencing which also helped keep the project within budget.
After seeing the new fence installed and finished the customer decided to finish off the remaining part of the section with new fencing too.
Final touches were done including closing in the new deck area and installing final edging around the pool. The pool was filled and the client was over the moon. See testimonial and images below.
